A whiskey distillery had been developed in a cave in the mountain
behind the property.
Bootleggers were selling their production and were caught!
The local population conveniently decided to call this area "Whiskey Mountain".
Our Home : Built in 1869, is a 1 1/2 story main house - an old German farmhouse with a cypress plank exterior, tin roof and a 50 foot porch held up by huge cedar tree trunks: It's a work of art!
Watch abundant wildlife... deer, rabbits, raccoons, armadillos, porcupines, and birds galore.
