The "area" was named during prohibition times. 
A whiskey distillery had been developed in a cave in the mountain
 behind the property. 
Bootleggers  were selling their production and were caught!
 The local population conveniently decided to call this area
 "Whiskey Mountain".

Our Home : Built in 1869, is a 1 1/2 story main house - an old German farmhouse with a cypress plank exterior, tin roof and a 50 foot porch held up by huge cedar tree trunks: It's a work of art!

All cabins are fully furnished

All cabins provide air conditioning and heat

Appliances include refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, coffee
makers and toasters

All cabins have BBQ facilities

Pets are welcome (please read our pet policies page)

10 acres of hiking trails are located on the property

We have a new community fire pit and patio

The area is quiet,  peaceful, and relaxing. 

 OUR CABINS DO NOT HAVE TELEVISIONS OR PHONES!

Watch abundant wildlife... deer, rabbits, raccoons, armadillos, porcupines, and birds galore.

Plan to relax on your cabin porch and take in the refreshing Texas Hill Country air and scenery.

We have 5 cabins to choose from.....one is a duplex.

Off-season rates are available.

Prices listed are peak season rates.

All of our cabins are furnished with dishes, utensils and cookware.
